The numbers-

Overall place- 168 out of 596 runners (Thai Guy was 175)

Age Group place- 27th out of 120

Climbed 1000 ft. in the first 9 miles.

Ran the last 2 miles at a well under 8:00 min/mile pace.


Some more interesting numbers-
5 people running in party hats.

1 guy running with 2 beers.

2/3 of the 1st mile on a dirt road with break-ankle loose rocks.

1 miniature meltdown after the finish.

0 sightings of the infamous Desert Tortoise.
